Virus e-mail messages

If your incoming email is handled by Ideal Internet, it is very unlikely that you have received a virus in your mail as all incoming messages are checked for viruses before you can download them.

However, there are a spate of e-mail based viruses about at the moment which infest a users computer and start sending messages from anyone in the users address book to anyone else in the users address book.

The result of this is that you may get a message saying that you attempted to send a virus to someone you've never heard of.

This is because the virus has pretended to be you, sent a message to a third party, the third party's ISP has rejected it, and the message has bounced back to you.

In all cases, simply delete the message.
